DSC offers numerous awards and scholarships to empower and motivate future communication professionals to evolve with intuition, empathy and grit. Furthermore, India’s top Media organisations also Award Scholarships at DSC. The scholarships inspire creativity, dedication, and a passion for excellence in our communication students, motivating them to grow and evolve continuously.
1. Admission Scholarship: Recognising the research and strategic acumen of the incoming batch each year, the admission scholarship is awarded to numerous worthy students, motivating them further to learn and evolve.
2. The Dean’s Award: Each semester the topper is awarded with the Dean’s Scholarship carrying a cash prize of Rs 25,000. A total of Rs 1,00,000/- is awarded as part of the Dean’s Award.
3. Maverick of the Year Award, instituted by The Mavericks: In recognition of talent that demonstrates curiosity, courage, commitment and collaboration, the Mavericks of the year award carries a Certificate of Excellence along with Rs 75,000/- and a standing offer to join the prestigious Mavericks.
4. Award for Best Storyteller in Public Relations, instituted by Consocia Advisory: The award encourages the next generation of communication professionals to uphold the power of meaningful storytelling in shaping narratives that matter. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000/-

The Mavericks, a leading communications firm, proudly announced the “Maverick of the Year” award, instituted in 2024 to recognize outstanding student talent at Delhi School of Communication (DSC). This prestigious accolade honours individuals who excel in harnessing the power of communications, offering a cash prize of Rs 75,000/-a certificate of merit, and a job offer at The Mavericks. In further recognition of excellence among DSC students and to strengthen ties between academia and industry, Consocia Advisory and Media Mantra also presented corporate awards. Ms. Avani Agrawal received the Maverick corporate award of Rs. 75,000, presented by Ms. Mitali Darbari. Ms. Shinjini Roy was honored with the second corporate award of Rs 25,000, given by Mr. Deepak Jolly, CEO and Founder of Consocia Advisory. Ms. Dishita Jain earned the Digital Excellence Award, awarded by Ms. Puja Pathak.
During the event, graduating students were awarded certificates and recognized with various accolades, including medals and subject-specific awards. The prestigious bronze medal went to Ms. Priyasha Kohli, the silver medal was awarded to Ms. Dishita Jain, and the gold was bagged by Ms. Avani Agrawal. The Surojit Lahiri Memorial Award for Holistic Excellence went to Ms. Avani Agrawal.
